iRide.2020.01.04 Twilight

It was another fine day with temperatures reaching the mid-fifties Fahrenheit (12.8°C) as I set off on my ride. The hawks were flying in the late afternoon sunshine and even with my old, slow travel camera I was successful in taking some photos. There were some big skies and in the bright sunshine the new buildings at the Copper Rock golf development were starting to look less like a construction site and more like places someone might like to live.

I was running later than usual and the temperature fell as the light began to fade. I enjoy riding as the sun goes down. I rounded the General Dick Stout north sock as darkness was falling and a pilot made a night landing just ahead of me. I think my riding lights were brighter than his flying lights!
