iRide.2020.01.07 Objet d'art
I was wrong (see previous post). The latest activity at Copper Rock does not involve pinching or heavenly bodies. What is in progress is an objet d'art erection. They say fools and bairns (Northern English: children) should never see half done work, so I will wait until the job has been completed before I venture an opinion.
The harrowing underway at the Western legacy farm seems interminable. Yesterday the tractor was operating in straight lines. Today the driver seemed to be expressing himself in a freeform roundelay across the field. People mostly know how to do their jobs better than the idlers and bystanders who watch them at work. Heaven forfend that I should become an armchair quarterback—the last thing I want is to be an ultracrepidarian in any field—but while picking my way through a minefield of mixed metaphors and wordplay, I do like to understand why things are done the way they are.

Good to see your new year is again full of adventures. No one could ever accuse you of lazing about that's for sure Ian. Living in such a beautiful place must help as can be seen from your photographs. Living in the country myself now. I think you certainly appreciate been able to walk out the door into fresh air and few vehicles around you.
ReplyDeleteKeep up your routine. It's obviously doing you good and certainly interesting for.old friends like myself to follow your progress.
