iWalk.2020.01.08 Route 3

Riding yesterday afternoon was painful. The cause may have been as trivial as changing back into lighter footwear. Some mild pharmaceutical intervention was required overnight and this morning I was in good shape for walking. I reconnoitered a third route to use in my rotation.

It was a glorious morning, flat calm and warm in in the sun. As I was stroking the horses a voice behind me said, "Everybody needs love!" I turned around and a woman of about my vintage had stopped her car in the middle of the road, presumably to admire the fine equine display. A second car was unable to pass, but waited patiently. Life in the slow lane is very enjoyable.
