iRide.2020.02.14 Quickfix

The crews constructing the first phase of new homes at the Copper Rock golf course development performed a startling transformation to the site over the previous four days. As late as yesterday afternoon the whole place was buzzing with frenetic activity and looked like you would expect a construction site to look. Today, it almost looked like an established residential community for the benefit of the St George Parade of Homes visitors.

The first featured photo has no hidden meaning. I was simply struck by the visual contrast between the dumpster, the Arc de Triomphe Etoile house, and the cliffs beyond. The carpark at my Sky Ranch turnaround was strangely deserted today considering that the Wizards MC desert race will take place tomorrow. A slow ride homeward in the late afternoon sunshine was a pleasing way to end what had physically been an excellent day for me.
