iWalk.2020.02.10 Happenstance
Quite by happenstance, the route of my walk this morning took me past three houses with historic markers and information plaques. Not all the houses in the town are quaint and traditional; the one in the featured photo always makes me think of the cornette wimples worn by the Daughters of Charity.
The house on the left of the collage is a Craftsman Bungalow built for the first resident doctor in the town, Harold Herbert Wilkinson, and his wife, Luella Fawcett Wilkinson. I was unable to find more information on the electro-cardio machine invented by Dr Wilkinson.
The morning weather had been a delightful despite a high wind warning. A cold wind from the north picked up immediately following lunch, so I opted for an indoor ride. The warning expires at noon tomorrow. I am hoping that means I will be able to go for a bicycle ride.
