iRide.2020.03.13 BOGO
I just popped out to OTE (Over the Edge Sports) on my commuting machine to collect some new tires. The shop cat, whose name is Squeek, said that new tires were TPP (twofer the price of a pair) and stop being such a skinflint. I enjoyed my mini-ride so much that I went for a spin around the bridges and spillway crossing Gould Wash as it passes through the south of the town. It was a BOGO (buy one get one) outing with two rides for the price of one. Although the early evening was cold and damp, it was invigorating.
The wash is usually dry, but after heavy overnight rain it was running in a minor flood. Somebody in possession of admirable aforethought had cleaned all the debris from the course of the wash recently so there was no backing up, or at least not yet. There is more rain to come, so maybe there will be a significant rise in the floodwater level. It never rains but it pours.
