The countryside was teeming with wildlife today. I watched as a heron caught a fish, swallowed it, and then fled when it saw me. There were horses, ducks, a bear, and I even saw a pair of Cycloraptors (a dangerous species of the Velociraptor genus—meaning 'swift seizer' in Latin—that may be familiar to you from the movie 'Jurassic Park') as they passed over the top of a climb known to the local Stravavari as 'Mercy'. The lead of the duo was a V. gigantus, as seen from its colorful plumage. The last time I chatted with one of these two I was motivated to go OTE (Over the Edge) and add a lighter, faster mount to my stable. I hope our socially-distanced chat today does not drive me into another velo-feeding frenzy.
