iWalk.2020.01.10 Cameraless
I tried to go cameraless as an exercise in self-restraint. Then I remembered the iPhone. Oh well. I have shown the mini-henge twice because every time I see it I wonder why anyone would place it against the boundary wall rather than give it some free space as a setting for maximum visual impact.
The architecture of the house is quite severe in an attractive way (see #226 in the 'iWalk.2020.01.06 Progress' post on 06 Jan. 2020). The natural stone in that particular configuration, glowing in the sunshine, makes an excellent foil (not in the architectural sense of a decorative device derived from cusps of circles, but from the literary sense of a subsidiary character that emphasizes the traits of a main character).
I am glad I got that off my chest.
